KfW back on shopping list as periphery wobbles
KfW’s €5bn print of a new five year benchmark today blows away any doubts that expensive German credits are being shunned in favour of higher yielding names. Bankers away from the trade were surprised that the borrower printed such a large deal on the back of a €5.2bn book. The borrower, however, said the high quality of the book justified the size.
