KfW and Germany revel in risk-free status
KfW’s €5bn three year, which was priced on Tuesday, demonstrated the fervour for risk-free assets that is dominating SSA issuance. The deal was priced at mid-swaps less 35bp, the tightest level ever achieved by KfW or any of its peers, and with a coupon of just 0.625%.
