Rentenbank surprised the Kangaroo market today when it issued a A$250m tap of its A$250m 5.5% 2020 line 12bp through the original bond during Japanese public holiday Vernal Equinox day, which kept a fat slice of the usual long-dated Kangaroo investor base away.
