Ghost of Eksportfinans haunts NWB
Nederlandse Waterschapsbank (NWB) defended its undersubscribed dollar deal from Thursday blaming the impact of Eksportfinans’s demise on implicitly guaranteed agencies. Although Kommunalbanken had opened the dollar market for implicitly guaranteed credits with a heavily oversubscribed three year on Wednesday, NWB blamed its location in the Eurozone and choice of a five year maturity for some of its regular buyers shunning the trade.
