Carige sale shrinks, as MPS cap hike looms
The foundation that owns Banca Carige sold a smaller than expected, deeply discounted stake in the Italian lender on Tuesday night. The deal added to bankers' fears that investors could become fatigued ahead of capital raises for Carige and peer Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, next month.
