London-based asset manager Cairn Capital has hired two for its structured finance business. André Vollman, associate in consumer asset-backed securitization at Standard & Poor's in London, joins this week as a structured finance analyst. His hire comes as Cairn announced last week it has tapped Duncan Needham, v.p. in European credit trading at J.P. Morgan in London, to take over risk management of Cairn's investment-grade collateralized debt obligations.
David Henriques, director at Cairn, said it is increasing headcount ahead of executing several third party and public deals this year. At S&P, Vollman reported to Chris Such, director in European structured finance focusing on consumer asset-backed securities. Laura Vergani, spokeswoman for S&P, declined comment.
