Researchers Leave Morgan Stanley

Two credit research analysts have left Morgan Stanley in London.

Two credit research analysts have left Morgan Stanley in London. Cyrus de Weck, associate in high-yield research focusing on consumer and retail names, is joining distressed private equity firm MatlinPatterson in London next month, where he will perform a range of roles from distressed debt analysis to deal execution. Emma Bewley, associate in investment grade research focusing on pharmaceuticals, has resigned; it could not be determined if she has taken another job. De Weck declined to say to whom he will be reporting at MatlinPatterson. Bewley has left Morgan Stanley and could not be reached.

At Morgan Stanley, de Weck and Bewley reported to Catherine Gronquist, head of international credit research. Gronquist did not return calls.
