Credit Suisse First Boston bought a $166 million portfolio of approximately 50 par names from the firm's asset management division in an auction held Thursday. The cover bid was 101.217. Officials at both the bank and the asset management shop declined comment. Blockbuster, Centennial Cellular, Collins & Aikman, Dresser Rand Co. and Dynegy Holdings were among the names in the portfolio. Bank of America also landed an $80 million portfolio last week, but the seller could not be identified by press time. B of A traders did not return calls.
