Bankers at the 1 New York Plaza office of Morgan Stanley can breathe a sigh of relief after an August re-inspection by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene deemed its eating facilities passable after it failed its first Restaurant Inspection in July. Updated last Thursday, it now has received 16 points, it previously scored 30. A passing score is 27; the average violation point total for all NYC restaurants is 12. Current violations at 1 New York Plaza include: "evidence of roaches or live roaches present in facility's food and/or non-food areas," and "cooked or prepared food is cross-contaminated." Headquarter bankers, don't fret, you're in the clear as the office scored a perfect 0. A MS spokesman did not return a call by press time.
