Steve Sterling has joined Bear Stearns and will serve in a similar position as he held at Lehman Brothers. He had been head of Lehman's U.S. loan effort before leaving last year (LMW, 2/25/2005). Calls to Sterling at Bear Stearns were not immediately returned.
Sterling took the helm of Lehman Brothers' U.S. loan efforts in 2004 (6/4/2004). When he left, Bill Hughes, managing director, became head of loan capital markets at Lehman (2/25/2005).
