Citigroup Global Markets has added three staffers to its equity derivatives group in New York. Drew Corbett, an exchange-traded fund salesman at Merrill Lynch, joins as head of ETF trading while Ray Alvarez, an equity derivatives salesman at Lehman Brothers, has joined as v.p. in a similar role, said Duncan King, spokesman in New York. On the trading side, Dan Lago, an equity derivatives trader at Deutsche Bank, has joined in a similar role. Corbett, Alvarez and Lago could not be reached. Corbett is replacing John Bishop, who recently moved to a similar role at Wachovia Securities (DW, 3/28), according to an official.
Michael DuVally, spokesman at Merrill Lynch, declined comment. Kerrie Cohen, spokeswomen at Lehman Brothers did not return calls, and Juanita Gutiérrez, spokeswoman at Deutsche Bank, declined comment.
