Deutsche Bank has re-hired Zar Amrolia, former co-head of corporate derivatives marketing at Goldman Sachs in London, according to a market official. Prior to joining Goldman, Amrolia was instrumental in building up Deutsche Bank's foreign exchange platform, according to a derivatives banker.
Amrolia is believed to have been named global head of liquidity services and head of global bank sales to capital markets, according to one market official.
Previously co-head of European fx sales at Goldman, Amrolia was named co-head of derivatives marketing to corporates in July 2002 and was reportedly let go last March (DW, 3/6).
Calls to Amrolia, who was traveling Wednesday, were referred to Stephanie Smart, a Deutsche Bank spokeswoman, who did not immediately return calls.
