Citigroup has hired Gohir Anwar and Robert O'Donoghue, fixed-income structured sales staffers at Deutsche Bank in London, for its structured corporate products group. Jeremy Hughes, spokesman at Citigroup in London, confirmed the hires, but declined further comment.
At Deutsche Bank, Anwar and O'Donoghue reported to Raj Dhown, head of fixed income, cash and derivatives marketing for the U.K., Scandinavia, Holland and Ireland.
Separately, Charlie Remnant, v.p. in structured credit sales at Deutsche Bank, has left the firm, but is not thought to be joining Citi. Remnant joined Deutsche Bank from Merrill Lynch in August (DW, 8/25). Remnant, Anwar and O'Donoghue could not be reached. Dhown and Stephanie Smart, spokeswoman at Deutsche Bank, declined comment.
