Joachim Willnow, co-head of the structured solutions group at Merrill Lynch in London, has left the firm. Merrill merged its credit and equity marketing forces in February and Willnow, previously head of equity structured products, was named co-head of the group with Stefan Guetter, previously responsible for debt structured products (DW, 22/02). Guetter did not return calls by press time. Willnow could not be reached for comment and it could not be determined why he left the firm.
Nicola Hobday, a spokeswoman for Merrill Lynch in London, declined comment.
