BNP Paribas has brought aboard Taylor Liu, equity derivatives marketer at JPMorgan in Taipei, for a similar role in Hong Kong covering the Taiwanese market. Henry Pang, managing director and head of equity derivative sales at BNP in Hong Kong, said Liu's hire is an addition to the team, representing the growing appetite for derivative products in Taiwan. Liu could not be reached.
At JPMorgan Liu reported to Daryl Chen, v.p. in the Asian equity derivatives department in Hong Kong. Chen said JPMorgan is close to finalizing a replacement, but declined further comment.
