Citigroup Global Markets has hired two equity derivatives sales staffers in the U.S. Bill Looney has joined from Credit Suisse First Boston as v.p., while Jon Simon has been recruited from Lehman Brothers as a director, according to an internal memo sent by Art Calcagnini, head of U.S. institutional equity derivatives sales. Looney, Simon and Calcagnini all referred calls to Duncan King, spokesman in New York, who said the two staffers are filling newly created seats.
John Gallagher, spokesman at CSFB in New York, and Kerrie Cohen, spokeswoman at Lehman in New York, did not immediately return calls.
