Calyon has hired Nicholas Gibbins as an executive director and head of structuring innovation in its structured credit and collateralized debt obligation team. Gibbins joins from ABN AMRO, where he was an executive director in the credit derivatives group. According to an official, Gibbins has over 10 years experience in the equity and credit markets. He will initially focus on innovative index-linked structures. At Calyon he reports to Loic Fery, global head of structured credit and CDO structuring.
