Bear Stearns has bulked up its equity derivatives desk in Japan with two senior exotic derivatives hires. Takeshi Moriyama, head of fund-linked products at Credit Suisse First Boston in Tokyo, has joined as a managing director in structured equity product sales, and Cyril Cannamela, global head of exotic equity trading at Commerzbank in London, has come aboard as a managing director in structured equity products trading.
Moriyama reports to Lenny Feder, senior managing director and Tokyo branch manager, and Don Martocchio, senior managing director and global head of equity derivatives sales in New York. Cannamela reports to Kin Cheung, senior managing director and head of equity trading for Asia in Tokyo.
