Goldman Sachs has hired Oksana Grinchak, formerly ofCredit Suisse First Boston, as a v.p. in European fixed income derivative sales in London. She will report to Joe Macaione, head of hedge fund and central bank sales, and will focus on sales to hedge funds. Macaione did not return calls by press time. Rebecca Nelson, spokeswoman for Goldman in London, said Grinchak starts on the desk this week.
Grinchack left CSFB after almost three years on the fixed income desk. Rebecca O'Neill, spokeswoman at CSFB in London, declined comment on her role or who she reported to. Grinchack could not be reached for comment. Market officials said her responsibilities at the Swiss house included derivative strategy and research.
