EQUITY - Not a sure bet

Thailand's stock market has underperformed the rest of the region for the past two years. While this could mean an opportunity for investors (with the country's equities offering some of the lowest multiples and highest yields in Asia), the uncertain political environment and slowdown in corporate earnings should temper any exuberance.
