Country Data Explanation and Sponsor Disclaimer

Over the following pages is a collection of country profiles featuring key economic, fiscal and capital markets data. There are 45 profiles in total — the OECD’s 30 member countries plus the organisation’s five accession candidates and its five enhanced engagement countries as well as five others (Bulgaria, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania and Romania) at the request of the sponsors of this report.

EuroWeek contacted every country in October and requested a uniform set of data — similar to what many sovereign borrowers would take on investor roadshows. Many countries replied with the full set of data (for which we are grateful for), some returned with limited data while a minority either did not reply or were unable or unwilling to assist us.

Where we were unable to source data directly from the country we turned to other official sources such as the IMF, the European Commission and rating agencies. Data has also been supplied by EuroMTS, Markit and Dealogic. Data is sourced accordingly and is the most up to date available.

We would like to point out that the choice, research, compilation and use of the data in the following profiles has been undertaken by EuroWeek and not the sponsors of this report.
