UK 2060 tap set fair despite ‘first ever’ January deficit

The UK will issue a tap of its 4% 2060 Gilt next week, just days after news that net borrowing in January was £4.3bn, more than £9bn higher than last year, and compared to expectations of a £2.6bn surplus.
