SES, Wesfarmers revive corporate market
A batch of new and rare credits received a warm welcome from corporate bond investors in Europe this week. Satellite operator SES from Luxembourg drew a Eu3bn book for its Eu650m 10 year deal on Monday. Wesfarmers, the Australian retailer which roadshowed last October, also launched a long five year euro issue on Wednesday, its debut in the currency. Regular supply is yet to pick up but the encouraging response to recent deals has buoyed the market. Read EuroWeek on Friday for more analysis on this week’s issues.
