Gazprom eyes dollar bond but snubs foreign loan market
The thaw in western European capital markets is spreading east. The tentative return of risk appetite which propelled an equity market rally, a tightening of high grade corporate credit spreads and the flourishing of senior non-guaranteed issuance from European banks, has at last made its way to the emerging markets as Russia’s Gazprom began preparing its return to the international bond market.
