Philippines plans debt swap
The Republic of the Philippines is planning to launch a debt swap for some of its outstanding international bonds, but has neither picked banks nor sent out a request for proposals. The sovereign is likely to pick a few banks to manage a bond exchange first and then send out the RFP, according to a funding official.
