FSA gives warning as ‘Dear CEO’ letters sent to banks
A week after fining Credit Suisse £5.6m for mispricing asset backed securities, the UK’s Financial Services Authority has sent a ‘Dear CEO’ letter warning firms that it will be stepping up scrutiny of their valuation controls.
