OCBC goes local for S$1bn of bank capital
Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp (OCBC) is planning a S$1bn ($712m) hybrid tier one capital issue, looking to follow a series of successful subordinated deals in the Singapore market. Although the offering period doesn’t end until August 28, OCBC may decide to close the books early and price the bond this week, said a banker close to the deal.
