Securitisers face new threats as Congress debates setting 10% floor

The US House of Representatives held hearings on Thursday to debate a bill that would give the Federal Reserve and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp sweeping powers to intervene in large financial institutions, regardless of whether they are deposit taking banks.
