Agencies enhance standing after seeing off crisis
Traditional German public sector issuers have had a good crisis. Despite tough market conditions, they have all been able to access the capital market throughout the year and most have either concluded or are about to conclude their programmes. The strength of the sovereign’s triple-A rating, the stability of their credits and a strong local bid have been key elements driving their success. Hélène Durand reports.
