Aussie bullet opens RMBS to new investors

Bank of Western Australia (Bankwest), a subsidiary of Commonwealth Bank of Australia, gave the residential mortgage-backed securities market a shot in the arm this week, pitching a fixed rate bullet structure that bankers hope could open up the market to pension funds in the country and help mortgage lenders to move away from government support.
