Edwards prepares for 2011 IPO

Edwards, the private equity-owned vacuum technology supplier, said that it plans an IPO in 2011 in a deal that would likely value the firm at around £1.5bn, turning away from a secondary buy-out or trade sale after completing a strategic review.
