World Bank picks ex-Lehman chief risk officer as treasurer

The World Bank has appointed Madelyn Antoncic as vice president and treasurer, filling a vacancy that had existed since Ken Lay retired in December 2010. Antoncic, who will report to CFO Vincenzo La Via, will head seven treasury departments at the World Bank, including capital markets. She starts officially on July 11 but on Thursday she was in Washington to meet the departments she will manage.
