Ireland prepares to take stake in Bank of Ireland share issue
Bank of Ireland, the country’s last non-state owned bank, announced new details of its Eu4.35bn capital raising on Monday. A plan for a potential placement of Eu79.5m of shares to Ireland’s National Pensions Reserve Fund Commission (NPRFC) revealed the government’s pessimism about the deal.
