UBS to cut 1,575 investment bank jobs
UBS said today that it planned to cut 1,575 investment banking jobs as part of its previously announced plan to cut SFr2bn ($2.5bn) of costs by the end of 2013. The investment bank cuts account for about 9% of the division's headcount and almost half of UBS's planned overall job losses of 3,500.
