PPR shrugs off French downgrade with tightly priced tap

PPR, the French luxury goods, clothing and retail group, chose the first working day after France’s loss of its triple-A rating from Standard & Poor’s to return to the bond market after a two year gap. The deal lost virtually nothing from the timing, bankers said.
