UK energy group SSE turns to PP market for US debut
SSE, the UK power and gas utility, has sold a $700m private placement to 22 US investors, in its first venture to the US debt markets. The deal follows what one banker said was the biggest ever January in the US private placement market, with over $5bn of issues.
