Global sukuk issuance hits record for the first quarter
Global sukuk issuance in the first quarter of 2012 reached a record $36.638bn, according to data from EuroWeek’s Islamic Finance Information Service — an 11% increase on 2011’s first quarter figure of $32.929bn.
