Alert: RBS’ Pearson quits as Asia-Pacific head of FIG
Asia veteran James Pearson is understood to have handed in his notice this week and will leave RBS at the end of September. He runs the key financial institutions group business, but his future destination is unclear. John Mullins, RBS’ regional head of banking, will cover this role until the bank can find a replacement, although that won’t be easy in what is a highly competitive business.
