Bank of Ceylon opens international door to Sri Lanka names
State-owned Bank of Ceylon opened the international bond market for Sri Lankan issuers late last week, selling a $500m five year issue that was nearly eight times subscribed. Bankers expect several government-owned entities and banks to follow.
