Russian quasi-sovereigns leap through new issue window
Two Russian quasi-sovereign issuers, Vnesheconombank and Russian Agricultural Bank, priced new deals this week, taking advantage of a wave of investors keen to put money to work ahead of an EU summit that began on Thursday. While many view a post-summit rally as unlikely, they are expecting little serious negative fall-out from it. Issuers, for their part, are racing to price before the US’s Independence Day holiday on July 4.
