Chinese food and beverage firm Tingyi Holdings and Hong Kong developer Swire Properties defied the shaky bond market this week, drawing in $9.05bn of orders between them — and proving that despite rising concerns about the European sovereign debt crisis, there is still demand for investment grade Asian credits.
