China property deal could give jolt to ECM market

China State Construction International Holdings raised HK$2.27bn ($292m) on Tuesday, increasing a top-up placement of shares by half after getting strong demand from long-only accounts. The large bid could lead to more issuance from China’s real estate sector, said a banker close to the deal.
