Linde overcomes late start to raise €1.4bn
Linde Group raised €1.4bn from the capital increase that it promised last week would support its $4.6bn acquisition of US firm Lincare Holdings. A late start was a drag on momentum which led to pricing coming at the bottom of the range — but the stock then surprised many with a strong performance.
