FPC hails Cocos, cautions on risk weights
Barclays’ recent contingent capital issue received a metaphorical thumbs-up on Thursday from the UK’s Financial Policy Committee. However, the FPC, in its November report, changed its emphasis on bank capital, sharpening its focus on the way capital ratios are calculated.
