Taiwan threatens to hike reserve levels on corp loans
The country’s financial regulator has warned bank loan executives it will hit them with higher loan reserve requirements if they continue to drive down loan pricing to risky levels. Some banks are reportedly extending loans at rates lower than their actual cost.
