CEEMEA issuance surges near record on Russian oil pair

Two Russian oil majors provided the bulk of CEEMEA activity this week as Lukoil and Gazprom Neft — both rare Eurobond issuers —tapped the market for $3bn and €750m respectively. The bumper deals took the CEEMEA volumes printed so far this month to $15.4bn, and a swathe of new deals have been announced, putting the April 2010 issuance record of $20.4bn in sight.
