Italy revives 30 year hopes after Spain’s super-sized book
The Republic of Italy opened books on a long awaited 30 year bond on Wednesday, becoming the latest peripheral sovereign to feed the investor frenzy for yield. The mania had already driven books on a 10 year Bonos syndication on Tuesday to over €21bn and was set to produce a similar result for Italy.
