Barclays draws blood on costs “battleground”

Barclays has unleashed a swathe of job cuts within its investment bank, dropping employees in Europe, Asia and the US as well as its London headquarters, as CEO Antony Jenkins attempts to cut costs as part of the bank’s Transform programme.
