ÖBB and Laender receive mixed reception at long end
ÖBB-Infrastruktur and the Joint Laender defied uncertainty on the US debt ceiling this week to sell long dated bonds in euros. While ÖBB was rewarded with a healthy oversubscription for its 20 year deal, the Joint Laender deal failed to reach subscription with a 10 year print — though bankers close to the deal said that it was a decent showing compared with some of the issuer's recent trades.
