HSBC hires eight for Asia Pacific equities expansion
HSBC has made eight senior appointments in its Asia Pacific equities unit. In Hong Kong, former Credit Suisse sales trader, Justin Abbiss, joins as senior equities sales trader. He has 20 years of experience in the industry and is joined by Danny Holder, HSBC’s new head of dealing, equities, who was previously on the books of Oppenheimer Investments’ execution division. Both report to Jefferson Saunders, head of sales trading and customised execution services for Asia Pacific.
